In addition to her role as General Counsel, Nicole is also responsible for Human Resources at Axia NetMedia Corporation. Since assuming this role in late 2006, Nicole has implemented many new initiatives, the most recent of which is teleworking. With a company size of just over 130 and employees throughout Alberta and France, Axia’s teleworking policy provides flexibility for managers and employees in the dynamic Calgary work environment and focuses on performance through achievement of specific outcomes versus physical presence in the office. Axia has been named the Best Small and Medium Employer in Canada for 2008. |
